OpenLearn (from The Open University) offers a wide range of free courses. You can earn digital badges and "Statements of Participation".

LinkedIn Learning has an extensive digital library of expert-led courses and short videos. They offer a free one-month trial.

The Santander Open Academy offers over 1,000 free courses, designed to develop the professional skills demanded in the workplace.

Hone your AI skills with a range of free courses created by the likes of Microsoft, Salesforce, Google, Amazon and IBM.

Technology, IT and marketing

There are various highly-regarded courses offered by some of the big tech companies. There’s a considerable time commitment when studying some of these courses, so only enrol if you’re confident you have the time to do so without affecting your academic studies.

Google Career Certificate offers a range of free courses including cybersecurity, Data Analytics, UX Design, IT Automation with Python, and Digital Marketing & E-commerce.
